Do you fit the stereotypical gamer type?

Yes, with a fedora to boot 7 3.41%

I'm overweight and a little geeky looking 36 17.56%

I'm standard weight but still look geeky 57 27.80%

No, I'm pretty metrosexu... 105 51.22%

Total:205

If you saw me in person, and never spoke to me, there's literally no way you'd guess I game.

I spend as much money on clothes (sometimes more, if I'm honest) then I do on games. The only "gaming shirt" that I own is a Pokemon anime T Shirt that my sister bought me because... Well she knows I like Pokemon. And the only reason I ever wear it outside of my house at all is because I love my little sister and I'm not a complete asshole, lol.

I wouldn't be caught dead with a gaming poster in my room, because I feel like that sort of stuff is tacky. I think movie and TV show posters and clothes are tacky too, though. That's the same reason I don't buy gaming clothes. They are 99.9% never fashionable at all.

I have a very European sense of fashion. I shop at H&M, Zara, Aldo, Boohoo, Urban Outfitters sometimes, uh and a bunch of places in the city. I hardly ever wear sneakers. Sneakers are for athletes or athletics. And this is coming from a 21 year old. I own a pear of white converses and two athletic running shoes for working out and when I'm being extremely casual. Otherwise, I strictly wear shoes. Loafers, fashionable boots, moccasins, etc. I wear slim fit blazers and skinny/slim fit jeans and pants. I wear knit cardigans and knit sweaters, many with unique collars. You'll never catch me with clothes that aren't at least slim fit.

I'm 6ft tall, extremely lean and fit, and have a body very much like Seece's avatar. Eh, actually, I lost some mass and definition since I haven't been to the gym since like September, lol. I need to head back, honestly, but I haven't lost enough definition to truly motivate me to return to it yet. I've actually had a lot of chances to do modeling gigs, but I only did one, because I was too lazy to look for more.

I go out to bars a lot and hook up with girls and all that stuff that people make fun of as "stupid shit stereotypical college idiots do." I only have one gamer friend in real life. All the other ones are into... Well, not gaming lol. Except for casual shit like Smash and Mario Party. But usually that's with drinking.

I'm a musician first, so my friends all know me as "the music guy who dresses awesome... And is weirdly really into games." I'm really cocky in person... Lol, which many of you can probably tell by my stubbornness here. I was really tempted to post my picture in the "best looking member" thread here because I am seriously sure I'd have won it, but I don't ever want anyone I know to find out that I'd post my picture on a video game forum just to boost my ego more than it already is lol.

So yeah, I'm as much of a pretentious ass outside of Vgchartz as I am inside lol. I literally only wanted to post on here to brag about how awesome I think I am lol. Truly, the only "typical" gamer thing I do is talk about games a lot to my friends when I know they don't give a shit about what I'm talking about, lmao.

The poll is very... narrow? im 5'7 186lbs, i think i'm very normal looking except for my hair, don't own any videogame t-shirt but i that's because i'm very minimalistic/practical - i just don't see a reason to own more than 10 tshirts, 5 jeans and 3 pairs of shoes so... BUT then again i don't currently own a home console***, only a 3DS so am i even a gamer? LOL - But seriously, most of my playtime comes from time at a friends house, he's a collector so he has lot's of stuff and that's basically all i need, i can wait to play games i don't need to get a system/game the first day it comes out, i don't think i fit any parameters, save for things like age/gender/name-a-specific-habit most people don't, i'd say im just a very apathetic person who happens to like videogames a lot

***Still own my PS2 and games but isn't plugged, my psOne too but no games, owned two 360's (1st one RRoD, second sold) kept the games, owned DS kept games, owned N64, Dreamcast, SNES... so on

Well. Feel free to PM me pics, I will keep them private!!

Also I had a sort of videogame poster once, it was an Oatmeal one taking the piss out of Angry Birds, not sure that counts tho.

I have no fashion sense, I use boring t-shirts and boring jeans. I use glasses when I'm home but I change to contact lenses outside so people can watch my pretty green eyes.

I don't really fit any stereotype, I just look like a normal human being.

As co-head mod, I'll need to see those pics as well... it's in the rules somewhere.

I swim, so obviously I'm not overweight, I'm not spotty, I don't like hats (neither glasses) though I definitely don't care about fashion, just a t-shirt and shorts and that's how you'll see me.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

Yeah I should probably reword that really, it's not so much about not being into fashion but rather dressing ridiculously.

Overweight people can't swim. It is known.
