Don't know if I want them to move away from the DS line personally, I really like have the clam shell design and I don't think a GBA or PSP/VITA style device will offer as much protection when sticking it in my pocket or bag without some external purchased case. Maybe a GBA SP style clam device would be as nice but for one with the wide screen type dimensions, you'd wonder why not just have a extra screen with all that real estate that would be left behind.

Eh, hopefully Nintendo will be able to continue the tradition of good portables, although they should keep whoever came up with the specs to the Wii U or the name of the New 3DS far away from the console's development choices.
