Own the game since yesterday and seems like it's getting better and better. Still bummed that there is no local multiplayer though.

To be fair, with these graphics the framerate would've probably been too horrible for local multiplayer. Splitscreen does take a lot for a console.
So in the end you have to ask yourself what you want the most: amazing graphics or better gameplay.

I expect many feel DC's gameplay benefits more from the immersion built by its realism than it would from a higher frame rate. You obviously disagree (as you've made a point of mentioning on several occasions), but don't pretend that people are simply choosing between graphics or gameplay. The world is hardly that black and white.

We're debating about the topic of whether or not Driveclub is underrated or not. Not derailing the thread at all, calm yourself. Sorry for thinking 60fps is important in a racing game... I can understand why reviewers would score a racing game less for that. |
They don't. Forza Horizon 1 and 2 are both 30FPS too and got great scores.

I guess most reviewers were pissed off with the online then. I can understand why people love this game, but at the same time I think the review scores shouldn't be redone. A footnote that says most of the problems are fixed is good enough.
Because otherwise developers think they can get away with releasing broken games over and over again. I think Evolution learned a valuable lesson here and their future games will benefit from it. What do you think?
I'm sure this game would've gotten great scores as well if it released 2-3 months later. Sometimes you just got to delay a game...
Anyway, the sound is good! Just don't understand why it needed a patch for it to be this good!

Only in your dreams. FH2 is still much better game than DC with all patches. Only gfx is better in DC.

FFVI is better than FFVII. FFVII got a better word of mouth.

And again, it's stupid to use the review to punish a developer, that's not their goal, the review is only useful for the consumer to know if what he wants to buy is good or not, at least, they should make a second review
Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:
PS4: 17m XB1: 10m WiiU: 10m Vita: 10m

If a reviewer doesn't like broken games at launch then that is obviously going to reflect his score. What other explanation do you have for this game not scoring as high as Forza Horizon?

Nope. Online was working when reviewers wrote their reviews. Game wasn't broken. The online broke down when the influx of new players came.
Thing is, Evolution have now completely fixed the game AND added lots of cool stuff on top like weather and improved sound, free dlc etc.
