It's sad this game will always be the most underrated game of the year

Just because it has pretty graphics? Look at Ryse... Not that Driveclub is as broken as Ryse (reviews are also better), but you get my point.

I'm of the opinion that games should fully work at launch... If they don't, then they deserve the bad reviews, even if everything is later fixed. This way the developer will learn from its mistakes and (hopefully) not release a broken game at launch in the future.

No, since the games are totally different. Pretty graphics for a game like Ryse is not that important. And anyway, Ryse got what it deserved since the game released was the final build. So wrong point. And imo, thats stupid if review dont reflect the game we buy, because reviews dont have to be childish punishing a game, they should be updated to be used by consumers, because reviews are made for us and only for us, and we dont care about how the game was at launch, we care about how it is now, when we buy it. So all these reviews are useless now for someone who buy the game.

In a racing game, a great tech improves a lot immersion, so yes, it would have deserved more points than what it got.

That goes for pretty much every game. What's more important is gameplay: does it run on 60fps? If it doesn't then I can see where the reviews come from. Because that's where immersion really comes from in a racing game: solid 60fps.

No, that goes only for games like racing games where immersion is so important
Because what you dont understand is : in a racing game, immersion is the most important thing after gameplay, driveclub has a good gameplay so with a much better immersion, it deserves more points.

30fps in a racing game doesnt impact immersion at such speed with a good motion blur, the proof that you are wrong is PGR : always at 30fps, still very good reviews.

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

Are you seriously arguing against a huge Metroid Prime fan that immersion only matters in racing games? Lol!

I don't need any other proof than my eyes: Mario Kart 8 1-2 players plays like a dream, but 3-4 players is horrible!

Nor do you need super fancy graphics to be fully immersed in a game.

Yes, a photorealistic immersion in a metroid prime game is nowhere as important as in a realistic driving game. Common sense

Wow, are you seriously comparing mario kart to driveclub ? They have 2 totally differents goals, Driveclub is fun and realism, Mario Kart is pure fun in a fantasy world

No, I'm comparing 60fps with 30fps in a racing game.

As for the bolded part, I'm not even sure if that is supposed to be sarcasm or if you really think that lol. The Metroid Prime games were some of the best looking games on their respective consoles, and they were all a solid 60fps.

What the fuck? Get this Metroid Vs. Driveclub shit out of here. This guy always derails every Sony thread he comes in. So god damn annoying.

We're debating about the topic of whether or not Driveclub is underrated or not. Not derailing the thread at all, calm yourself.

Sorry for thinking 60fps is important in a racing game... I can understand why reviewers would score a racing game less for that.

This game just keeps improving, really enjoying it!

Thread is about Driveclubs new sound patch and you're not talking about that topic. So you are derailing the thread. You want to argue whether DC is underrated or not? Make a new thread and leave this one. We don't need this shit here.

And that is purely nonsense, since a game like mario kart needs 60fps , a game like driveclub doesnt.

I'm done here if you cant make the différence between a beautiful game and a realistic game, a game can be impressive tech wise but not aiming for photo realism
