Just because it has pretty graphics? Look at Ryse... Not that Driveclub is as broken as Ryse (reviews are also better), but you get my point.
I'm of the opinion that games should fully work at launch... If they don't, then they deserve the bad reviews, even if everything is later fixed. This way the developer will learn from its mistakes and (hopefully) not release a broken game at launch in the future.

No, since the games are totally different. Pretty graphics for a game like Ryse is not that important. And anyway, Ryse got what it deserved since the game released was the final build. So wrong point. And imo, thats stupid if review dont reflect the game we buy, because reviews dont have to be childish punishing a game, they should be updated to be used by consumers, because reviews are made for us and only for us, and we dont care about how the game was at launch, we care about how it is now, when we buy it. So all these reviews are useless now for someone who buy the game.
In a racing game, a great tech improves a lot immersion, so yes, it would have deserved more points than what it got.

That goes for pretty much every game. What's more important is gameplay: does it run on 60fps? If it doesn't then I can see where the reviews come from. Because that's where immersion really comes from in a racing game: solid 60fps.
