30fps in a racing game doesnt impact immersion at such speed with a good motion blur, the proof that you are wrong is PGR : always at 30fps, still very good reviews.

I don't need any other proof than my eyes: Mario Kart 8 1-2 players plays like a dream, but 3-4 players is horrible! 

Nor do you need super fancy graphics to be fully immersed in a game.

Wow, are you seriously comparing mario kart to driveclub ? They have 2 totally differents goals, Driveclub is fun and realism, Mario Kart is pure fun in a fantasy world
