Possibly, although the reviewers got the game without any of the online issues. There's no doubt meta would be higher though |
Reviewer priviliege. Playing the game early means playing the game on empty servers.

| kristianity77 said: its a way way better game than the 70% average it currently has on Gamerankings as discussed on the other Driveclub thread on here. The social part of it alone is better than any other racer I've seen thus far. Its a shame they haven't integrated the weather stuff into the tour mode yet (is it in the DLC tour stuff?) so the single player part doesn't see any of this really. I love it though I do, its part PGR, part Sega Rally, and all parts amazing looking! |
Yes it is but they haven't used it very much
Sad to see that they have the rain on the lens in every camera perspective and not just inside the car.

Yeah, DC after patch 1.09 is Marvellous. 9/10, if not more !
'' Let me rephrase that – “Driveclub is the best looking racing game to date”.''
''Summary
''Driveclub is the biggest racer to date on the PS4 and visually the most jaw-dropping racer on any console to date. The game offers tons of content and now that the online mode is finally catching up the game is really turning out to be the game that it was supposed to be at launch.''
''Racing can be done in Canada, the UK, Norway, Chili and India and each track in all countries features densely populated terrains and insane draw distances. Some of the environments appear almost photorealistic with the sun glaring in your window and the changing position of the sun creating different lighting conditions.''
''Driveclub features over 50 cars, mostly from Europe. Each car has it’s own ‘feeling’ and sound. All of the cars are extremely detailed, both on the in- and outside. As a player you can really tell that Evolution has a passion for cars. As stated earlier ; this game is most visually stunning racing title on any console to date. After seeing the screenshots below you will agree with me.''

All views are affected by the weather, so no one has an advantage.

Because why would I want to have an advantage in singleplayer. I bet the AI is affected by the bad vision as well. So it's probably fair.
