I do. Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2, Donkey Kong Country Returns, Metroid Prime 3, Skyward Sword, Punch-Out!!, Kirbys Epic Yarn, Rhythm Heaven Fever, Wario Land: Shake It etc...

They never ignored their fanbase during the Wii era...

I missed out on Skyward Sword, Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Wario Land: Shake It.

dont see it happen, nintendo was never the platform of choice for third party. Even the wii was never really as sucessfull as the other 2, yeah it sold more units but not more games and services, espacially third party games. Nintendo could maybe succeed if their planed console for devolping countries becomes succefull in getting people who arent gamer into buying their consoles like they did with the wii.

By god, how long will we have to re-litigate the 7th gen? Wii won, deal with it.

Monster Hunter: pissing me off since 2010.

I have to say they won't, it would require major changes and Nintendo as a company is too stubborn to change.

Yeah in brute sales but in overall enjoyment of the console? Hell no.

lol

nintendo cant buy 10% of sony let alone buy sony

Buying Sony at this point would be the worst thing any company could do...

Instead of spammy reaction GIFs, why not present something of substance?

First, under current market capitalization, Sony is in danger of a buyout. Sony's market cap is $20 billion right now, which is about 3x what Nintendo has in cash, though theoretically if Nintendo wanted to, they could over-leverage themselves and buy it out.

Secondly, Sony as a corporation is a hot mess right now. PlayStation and their life insurance division are all they have that's worth a damn, especially as Sony Pictures unravels now in the wake of the hack. Buying Sony would, indeed, be a terrible idea unless the buyer just wanted to liquidate everything except life insurance and the PS division, and that wouldn't be worth the asking price (especially as the market cap would rise as soon as it was clear somebody wanted to buy)

Nintendos market cap is 15 billion $ vs sonys 23. Nintendos total equities are 1.2 trillion ¥ vs sonys 2.2 trillion ¥. Nintendo has assets worth 1.3 trillion¥, sonys assets are worth 15 trillion ¥. not a single indicator says nintendo has more money than sony. And their revenue goes down while sonys goes up.

It could so easily.

Make it as powerful as Sony/MS offerings (to be clear, don't be a gen behind in hardware power, which lead to point 2).

Full 3rd party support and traditional controller/storage medium.

Much greater focus on online service
