I hope it does well. That series has so much charm and it adds to the library. Lately, both MS and Sony have played the dark, mature titles a little TOO much imo. Games like this are needed.

you cannot say that, a game should be able to stand up to anything, you do not see Nintendo being scared to put Mario in November, they build up Mario to where it is, Sony could do the same or treat the series as how they treat the psvita aka very little support

You can't seriously be putting lbp3 in the same class as the most iconic game ever, Mario. I'm not hating on lbp3 at all but November is for the heavyweights with core and casual gamer reconition.
It'll have decent legs and will only sell better than LBP Vita.
I'm a huge LBP fan, but my goodness did Sony decide to try to kill it off by launching it against pretty much every heavy hitter this year.

Which is honestly a shame, because it really is one of the more creative and light-hearted franchises for Playstation. I thought Sackboy was on his way to becoming Playstation's new icon, but I guess that's too much to ask for now. |
I did too but I think it was unecessary to have sequels on the same console when you can create infinite content just with the first game.
LBP2 on ps4 with new graphics ect would have worked. Then LPB3 on PS5 ect.

Now that I think about it, that's really true. Plus franchise fatigue wouldn't really be an issue in that case. I guess they just wanted to cash in on the game's initial popularity, but that didn't really work.
It will sell the least of the home console games.

Ive been saying this for ages now. Sony and M$ need some family friendly titles to get the younger audience.
