I certainly imagine there will be at least one more release. The devs will need to invest in many new elements to have a successful LBP4. Another kart spinoff would kill them.

How is their marketing for the new game?

It'll have legs, but the series is probably becoming less popular.

Doesn't include the bundle...should add at least another 50k+ to this month.

The franchise is on decline, but this game will have legs. On the longrun I think it could pass LBP2 but only because the PS3 already had LBP1 and LBP really should be a 1 game per generation title... Its just a shame that the PS4 iteration looks very much like a PS3 title.

The orginal devs didn't work on LBP3 or LBPKarting. They've moved on to a new IP and PS4 version of Tearaway

It was probably developed first  on the PS3 and ported over. Majority of the PS3/4 differences aren't major. 

It's just a platformer with a story now. Don't know how deep the tools are for creation, but i don't think that's its main draw any more.

I'm sure LBP3 will have legs though.

Wut? The tools are much more expansive this time around while the story supposedly is worse/shorter.
