Slow burner, its a type of game that can be picked up and enjoyed long after release.

It's an evergreen game of course. That said, it already sold 350k+ (PS4 only) in 2 weeks. I believe LT sales will be around LBP2's numbers, maybe more.
Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

I'll be adding to it's legs next year!
Dont want to be mean but i think this series is done. I believe that this kind of game that relies heavily on player created content doesnt lend itself well to sequals that mostly do the same.
Basically, Sony pumps out more sequals than this series can support. It should be fine if there arent anymore sequals for the next 3-4 years. That will also help the legs on this one.

True, but COD isnt a game aimed at kids since the rating isnt for them (although more kids play COD than anyone else...) If I had kids I would let them play COD. And in my eyes 15ish year olds are teens, not kids. |
I suppose. That's the youngest possibel console demographic imo. Kids under will stick to mobile devices and Minecraft (which is probably still being played on a mobile device).
LBP is a good series. I can't help but think I am playing the same game over and over again. LBP should be treated like a game in a generation. It reminds me of worms. Everyone loved the first one but once you have played it,what is the next chapter going to do?
The game will always do ok but you need a PS4 version. not a ps3.5 version. Media molecule need fi work out dem bumba seed. N mek me tel ya 1 ting pon n seroious note.......... They are looking like one hit wonders............
Nobody's perfect. I aint nobody!!!
Killzone 2. its not a fps. it a FIRST PERSON WAR SIMULATOR!!!! ..The true PLAYSTATION 3 launch date and market dominations is SEP 1st ![]()
Great game, great series. They definitely need to take a more proactive approach to getting people to play this game, whether it's by bundling, sales, PS+, whatever.
Not sure how many here has played the LBP series? LBP2 refined and buffed out LBP1's flaws (floaty jumps, collision issues), while LBP3 seems like the first true expansion - Sackboy's got new tools to wield, and the three other characters have their own interesting mechanics.
I have no idea how it will perform in the long run, I just hope it does well.
Tearaway was great too so they're beyond 1 hit wonders. But also they didn't make LBP3, Sumo Digital did. MM are working on a new PS4 IP that is yet to be announced.
