GamePad-less bundles can exist ONLY if:

1. The OS is patched
2. Nintendo either sticks a disclaimer to the Pro Controller bundles saying that not all games can be played (Or patches individual games [WON'T HAPPEN])
3. Nintendo produces GamePad SKUs for retail

4, 5, & 6. Is Nintendo willing to invest in these changes, end their policy of fully supporting the GamePad, and allow it to become irrelevant to consumers???

No way in hell will the next Nintendo console have a Upad, so they might as well do it now...

Nintendo shouldn't be focusing on making Wii U similar to the next console, so if they did stop fully supporting the Upad, it would be based on different logic.

They dont need to stop supporting it. Just make the game playable with the pro controller as well and try to make the Upad more interesting for the people who dont have one...

I'm not asking, but removing the pad would certainly improve my disposition towards purchasing a Wii-U.

Could I interest you in a Super Smash WiiU bundle at $199.99 ???

You could. Where is this bundle selling for that price? I just tried googling it with no success...

300$ for a console with last gen specs, I can get an xbox one for 50$ more, I think I'd take that over the Wii U...

They could release a sans-gamepad bundle as an entry level package, and promote the gamepad (becoming it's own SKU) as a future purchase to the buyers of that bundle, but it would still be a huge gamechanger for Nintendo. It's an unlikely decision for the company...

I'll never stop asking for it. That Nintendo wants to force their stupid gimmicks upon me does nothing but hinder my gaming experience, the Gamepad it's the main reason I'm skipping the Wii U and I'm pretty sure that I'm not alone in this.

I'm now filled with determination.

Am I the only one who thinks the real problem of the WiiU is not really the console power not even the gamepad but a very poor marketing mixed with a terrible taste of so many gamers this days? I mean, i know what i´ve said about that gamers may soudns bad, but... nowadays people wants Assasins´s creed, they want things like Call of Duty, all this stuff is the new cassual games, but they are undercover cassual games that make you feel like a hardcore gamer, or just like seeing a movie (usually plenty of blockbusters cliches) and everyone knows that wiiu is not going to have those kind of games.

Many gamers thought that WiiU was just a tablet for wii, they´re very poor informated, and they think WiiU just have Mario, and Mario isn´t cool because isn´t realistic and violent.... They are not aware that WiiU is having the bests exclusives by far, and 2015 looks incredible. They just think that every new AC is the new God of videogames.

There has to be someway to make see this people how great is this console, graphics are not a problem, look Bayonetta 2, Mk8 or new Zelda, wiiu games look amazing, the quality is not the problem, Nintendo beats One and ps4 on Metacritic by far, even Captain Toad has better scores than the "great" Destiny or Bugity. Price might be a problem yeah, but if people can afford a ps4 and a One, even both, price is not really the problem. Then what?

Well, poor marketing, poor informed gamers and terrible taste of half of them.

Sure, blame the "tastes" of gamers for the Wii U's poor sales.  Those dumb gamers always wanting the next CoD, AC, Madden, FIFA, Final Fantasy, etc... why don't they wise up and support the console with such innovative and original titles as:

New Super Mario Bros U, Mario 3D World, Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros 4, Nintendo Mini Game Collection Land, Pikmin 3, Wii Party U, Wii Fit U, DKC 5, Dynasty Warriors 5000: Hyrule Edition, Mario 3D World Mini Game Collection Starring Toad, The Legend Of Zelda: Skyrim, ect.  I'll give you the rare non-Nintendo exclusive titles like Wonderful 101 and Bayonetta 2... but then you also have "amazing" exclusives like Zombi U and Sonic Boom to go with them on the console.

If you want to talk about gamers with bad tastes, then look no further than the average Nintendo gamers of today, because all they buy is the latest Nintendo rehashes and nothing else...

Bayonetta 2, arguable one of if not THE best games of the year, can't even crack half a million on the console after nearly 2 months on the market, when it would have done easly double that on BOTH the PS4 and X1 each, had it been a multiplatform title instead.  So there goes the argument that PS and XB gamers have bad tastes.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

Yeah, they will never do any of this. Just fun to speculate and find ways for them to do it

Well it's almost 2015. WiiUs are not selling. Sure it improved sales by 10% in November but that only because they're being compare to the abysmal WiiU sales. The console is a niche console at best and we're looking at 3-5 games worth playing a year. That number will shrink has Microsoft and Sony comes and swoop away developers like Microsoft did with PlatinumGames. (Scalebound looking mighty good on Xbox one... ) Enjoy Bayonetta 2 because Nintendo will never get another game from PlatinumGames this generation.

What's the worry WiiU's is crawling with game with metacritic in 90s. They can afford to lose a developer like Platinumgames. Oh my bad!!!! I was wrong Bayonetta 2 was apparently the console 4th retail game to have a metascore of 90. (No worries about Zelda Windwaker HD, I wont get technical with the it's a remake or remastered technicality, it would simply be sad if Bayonetta was only the third title to get a 90+)

I'm not complaining my Xbox One has so many games that I hardly have time to come back to the WiiU. I'm glad to only have to get 2-3 games a year. Maybe there hope SEGA could step up and make a great game. Let's just hope Nintendo can hold on to SEGA and have plenty more great gems like Sonic Boom, Sonic lost world and Mario & Sonic Olympic.

Nintendo and Platinum Games have already confirmed that theyre working on another game...

I think the better alternative is to just make the pad optional. but still include it. At least people who hate it wouldn't have to use it. Cause removing or lowering the price ain't gonna save the system at this point. The system is stuck with its bad image. Just like the Gamecube. Nintendo has got to wait it out.
