Yeah, indie games... I'd rather pay and play Uncharted 4 or GoW IV than all those games combined for free.

I'm glad I can have fun without paying $60. Personally I'm interested in getting the following games on my ps4 or vita from that list.

RIDE

Costume Quest 2

Retro City Rampage: DX

Terraria

The Banner Saga

Distance

Rocket League

Killing Floor 2

Bastion

Orcs Must Die: Unchained!

Shovel Knight

Super Time Force Ultra

And that's just the games that I've actually heard of so can make a judgement. I thank god everyday for giving me the ability to enjoy a variety of games. As a nintendo fan I would have thought you'd appreciate that GAMEPLAY is what matters more.

Practically none of my Wii U games costed €60 (PS4 and XBONE games do cost €60). Most cost €40 or less.

Besides, I play plenty of games on the virtual console: Zelda: a Link to the Past, Wario Land 1-4, Super Mario Land 2, Metroid Fusion, Metroid: Zero Mission, etc.

So I can also enjoy plenty of great games for a mere €4 (I could also play them for free on my emulator, but playing these games on a computer screen is no fun at all, so I gladly pay the €4).

Those games are often cheaper and most of the time better than anything an indie dev can come up with. And I really don't need Shovel Knight when I can just play DKC: TF! Although it does look interesting, so maybe if price drops on Wii U. €15 is too much for such a game when I can get better platformers for a mere €4 on the Wii U/3DS virtual console.

And none make me want to go out a buy a ps4

Nope, but it sure is nice for us PlayStation owners. Thank god sony is supporting there system well, thats how you take care of your customers! I am truly humbled.

Games are games. Doesn't matter how small they are.

I guess you wont play games like devil third, splatoon or Mario maker then singe they are not more ambitious than most of these indies games

Predictions for end of 2014 HW sales:

 PS4: 17m   XB1: 10m    WiiU: 10m   Vita: 10m

Sony support will be strong in 2015, but not because of indie games. 2014 was rather weak though, even for a first year. Completely my opinion of course, feel free to disagree.

I'll buy Splatoon, looks amazing, creative and fun. Won't be buying Devil's Third and Mario Maker indeed. Good guess!

Though I suggest you watch the analysis of GameXplain on the latest Mario Maker trailer. It might be more ambitous than you previously thought and they still have plenty to show. I'll maybe get it if they add a singleplayer (with co-op) and a brand new art style that doesn't look like trash (New Super Mario Bros. style, I like the retro styles, but they're not enough to warrant a purchase for me). If they add a Paper Mario style I'll be really tempted.

Indie games fad of over OP. It peaked on XBL with the likes of Limbo, Braid etc, since then absolutely nothing notable is come out.

Therefore this information means jackshit to me and I'm sure most people.

Yeah No Man's Sky, Killing Floor 2, Dungeon Defenders 2, Starbound, Terraria & The Witness aren't notable at all.

Your cant buy splatoon, you dont like indies... Or do you mean that some indies can be good ? So why not take a loot at some of these indie games in this list to learn than a lot are as ambitious as these Nintendo indie games?

Doesn't matter if these indies are RPGs, adventures, puzzles, or platformers. They all fall under the indie genre /s
