I think that'd only make it up for a handful of Xbox fans, if any at all. If you're into japanese games then only owning an X1 seems like the worst thing you could do.

Yeah, but you could also argue that only a handful of Xbox fans cared about Street Fighter as well then (it is a Japanese game afterall).

You could argue that, but I think that are a lot more people that care about getting SF on X1 than they are people that care about getting Persona 5 or FF VII on X1, especially since one of those is a very niche series that has never been on Xbox and the other is port of a 17 year old title.

SF IV on the other hand is still the 3rd best selling japanese game on the 360 after RE 5 and Sega Superstar Tennis (though this was under guarantee bundled to arrive at that spot), so even if people like to downplay this game as one that nobody cares about anyway, and I've seen a lot of that going around since the announcement, it is still a pretty big deal.

In an ideal world, making amends in this situation would be with regard to the entire PSX, and MS would both become more welcoming to indies and competitive with their 1st party selection. Alas, I instead forsee Mass Effect 4 or some other big western game being a XB1/PC exclusive.

If Microsoft steels Tekken 7 from playstation fans, the meltdowns will be a sight to behold

I would love to see that happen! The reactions would simply be priceless!

Put Fulgore AND TJ Combo in MK10 and make a KI VS DarkStalkers crossover with capcom and it will be all good.

CAPCOM is willing to pimp more IPs.

Monster Hunter 5 exclusive to Xbox One. Believe.

resident evil.

The Genesis version of street fighter 2 comes to mind.... just make it a "special" champion edition, and it's on the x1. It'll be on the x1 in some form, with a new name, like how they had the exclusive deal on snes, then the Genesis got the amazing special version.

Sony should know better than to trust Capcom. Capcom have burned MS, Nintendo, Sony, yeah pretty much anyone they have a chance to screw over, they screw over. They'll weasel out of their exclusivity contract and slap SFV wherever they can to make money.

yep remember resident evil 4. was only ever going to be a gamecube game.

I remember that well. It looked better on GCN than PS2 anyway, and we got the extra levels added into the Wii version. Still, Capcom lost a lot of credit with me on that move.

Kane & Lynch 3 exclusive to Xbox One confirmed.

They can have that one all they want. lol

Phil get on that Lost Planet 4 exclusive deal, time to strike back!

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

Alright...here is the plan Phil.

Forget Street Fighter 5. Its going to be ok at best. Instead just get SF5 Part 2 or whatever... Capcom always takes 2-3 iterations of the fighting game to make it the best it can be.

While you're at it, get Capcom to re-do Street Fighter III 3rd strike or Alpha 3 on Xbox One, 360 and PC with Street Fighter 5 graphics engine and allow for cross play.

Also ask them to add a bonus game where you get to smash a wall of PS4's stacked 10 feet high.

All will be forgiven.
