Forums - Gaming - The negative backlash from SE's FF7 port announcement..

Does SE realize what they were doing with the FF7 port announcement?

Yes, they knew they were trolling everyone. 107 53.23%

If it's not them being high, it's them being far too happy for their own good. It's like they don't know the concept of pain or stress when they speak.

Well, they are by far the highest paid employees in Japan more than doubling second highest: Sony employees. So that might have something to do with it.

They need to feel some pain to get them thinking straight.

Square is completely out of the touch with the consumer nowadays. The fact that Tomb Raider didn't meet their sales expectations is a clear example of that.

So I think they really were that oblivious.

I find it really funny myself and I think deserve it. Hopefully the fans will be smarter, but I doubt it.

not sure how long they can keep going like this.  Clearly management and accounting needs a shakeup if Tomb Raider can't make money.

Tomb Raider made money, people are just too lazy to google it. While not great its still profitable.

Exactly, the same with Ubisoft.
They need to suffer to learn to treat the customer decently.

I really hope this PC port to PS4 is a major flop.

Ubisoft will never learn because people will continue buying the games in droves no matter what
