PSX was definitely better than Sony's E3 2014 conference. I definitely liked how Sony announced a wide variety of games during the keynote. Of course, no press conference is without kinks and this one had some: SE trolling fans with a FFVII port, pacing issues during the 2nd half, ending the conference at a lowish note, and not showing games that should have been shown such as Rime or Ratchet & Clank Redux.

As for the idea of PSX, I think it was a great idea and after a decent debut, I expect PSX to happen again. It's a great way to close out the year and also, create anticipation for the offerings for the year after. This event also gives a good impression to the gamers in that Sony has so many games to announce that E3, Gamescom, and TGS aren't enough.

Microsoft and Nintendo can do the exact same things with their brands...

Nintendo could, but I dont think MS has enough games to show off to have an extensive confrence like this. Remember that Sony didnt show any 3rd party games unless they had exclusive content.

Ms did the same right? They only showed the ones with advertising rights and exclusive content ? Besides there are about 13 first party studios working on unannounced projects for Ms. Some are smaller titles ofc but they're are at least 5 AAA games that are unknown I think haha

I feel like it was good, would have been better had they not over hyped it so much, like how so many sites were saying, will cause rage, anger etc etc, Street Fighter V was a great reveal(even though it was leaked) but it wasn't as big as a game as they were hyping it, plus because it is still coming to PC.
But otherwise it was really good.

Other then Assasins Creed and COD I dont think MS had any other deals with 3rd parties ( I'm talking about E3). I could be wrong about that though. What I was saying though is that MS couldnt have this type of event right now. Most of there studios are working on games that are really far out... Maybe next year if MS's studios get closer to finishing up their  games, but even then they dont have the indies or first party power that Sony has to drive an event like this.

If MS was to have a similar event right now it would be mostly third party games and very few of there first party games. While Sony's was basically the opposite.

I thought it started well. UC4, Bloodborne. SF4 & SF5 are great. New Drawn To Death looks good. Nice indies.

I hated the SquareEnix spot. Square look like the biggest idiots in the industry right now.

Massively disappointed in how they handled the 20th Anniversary PS4 console sale. They said they would give details in the keynote. There were no details revealed in the keynote. They quietly announced it on Twitter a while after the Keynote, and it sold out in minutes. Bullshit, I hate Sony at this moment. But I'll get over it.

It was definitely OK. The way it was talked about I expected some huge reveals but instead got more trailers of known games and indies.

Not bad, just ok.

There is one more day right? I'll save my judgement till its over.
