Why do you do this to yourself??? "The Pokémon Company says Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire’s launch sales were about 135% of Pokémon X and Y at the same time". XY sales were about 4.0mil-4.5mil, making ORAS sold about 5.3mil-6.0mil. Its also holiday.
As for your Edit: They announced WW Sales at first for FW sales excluding Europe), then Europe launched and they showed us huge shipped figures. Thats all. Its not like they are trying to spin or something like that^

WorldWide its up 135% of XY at the same time. Its no less than 5mil Sold at the moment, probably closer to 5.5mil-6mil for now (First 17 days)

Thats not poorly, unless your comparing it to every entry? Its a third installment. Aside from Yellow, Third Installments sell roughly 6mil-8mil. :)

Well its already dec and most sales will come from this imo. I think safe bet would be 8.1mil-8.5mil. I be happy if it were more though!!!

Where do you hear it's the least popular? Is that based in sales? Because I loved it too, and I feel like it's one of the most loved ones, really. People have been begging for it for a while. I see X/Y as being the least popular now, with so many people hating on it, saying it was disappointing, didn't innovate enough, though I personally liked it for what it did with EV training.
But yes, Pokemon deserves some console adventures, not just console spinoffs.
Also holy cow, VGC has a lot of undertracked/overtracked Pokemon numbers. Diamond/Peal is overtracked, Ruby/Sapphire and Black/White are undertracked, X/Y is pretty undertracked even accounting for digital, Gold/Silver and R/B/G remakes are massively undertracked, Black2/White2 are undertracked, and Emerald is slightly overtracked. I wouldn't be surprised if VGC is already undertracking OR/AS massively as well. Maybe millions are on shelves for the holiday season, so we'll have to see after the holiday season if it's still significantly below shipments. I doubt millions of copies will stay on shelves through the holidays.
