I bought it out of sheer lack of other traditional fighters. Tekken has never really been my jam, but I needed something. I would much rather have something by Arcsys or hell even Soul Calibur 2 HD.

Didn't know there was a tekken on the wii U.

I wouldn't trust wii U sticks on a fighting game though.

I thought about buying it before but then I thought "oh shit we Nintendo fans don't buy 3rd party games" so I didn't :P

You shouldn't use a controller's analog sticks on any fighting game.

It's not just a spin-off.  It's a sequel to Tekken 6.

I bought it, and had loads of fun with it doing local multiplayer matches

Tekken = Playstation series
Metal Gear Solid = Playstation series
Final Fantasy = Playstation series

And the Wii U version has Tekken Ball. It's horrible that the PS3 didn't get that.. :(

Graphically, it's no different from the 360 and PS3 versions. When you're getting a system at launch, you typically either go for an exclusive game or something that has significantly better graphics than a last-gen counter part.

The Nintendo fanservice in this game is great though.

There was a time when people could easily say "Tomb Raider = Playstation series". :P

As to the thread topic, a shame it didn't get as many sales but it was an old port of in my view as a Tekken player, one of the worst Tekken games ever made.

Because it's a third party game.
