FF13 graphics with FF12 or Xenoblade gameplay.
That would be my perfect Final Fantasy game :)

My problem with the remake is that we already know whats going to happen specially when you know who dies

Remove one of the best parts of the game? If anything they should expand it to the point where you can you can keep cloud dressed in drag for the whole game, with new clothes, accessories, makeup and lingerie available at every city.
Same systems with asthetics like the ones seen in the ps3 teaser trailer. Just recreate it all in 3D with bigger models. Some extra content would be nice aswell. Keep the traversable world map. Make it like ni no kuni.
Why did you make think about this? I had already managed to give up on it. :(

Not this. If SE made the game with new everything and slapped "FF7" on it, I wouldn't touch another SE game ever again.
It will have turn-based strategy gameplay involving several parties, each comprising of 4 members and one dragon.
And it should have "Bahamut Lagoon" somewhere in the title.

I'd like to see it on the 3DS to be honest.
I hated the Advent Children look, that's probably the look they'd go for if they put it on PS4/X1. No thanks.
The charm of the original game was largely in the zoomed out, wide-scale environments that were oozing with color ... a remake would sap that IMO.
I'd just like a more direct port of the Playstation original, with higher poly character models for the 3DS please. An upgrade along the lines of Zelda: Oot -- Oot 3D would be fine.
Let's see.....
Replace all overworked maps and pre-rendered environments with realtime 3D graphics.
Replace all FMV's with realtime graphics and add voice acting in the cutscenes.
Redo the script for the text dialog (the translation for that game was awful).
Keep the same music soundtrack.
Maintain the basic turn based system and the material system.
Add the original game as a bonus so fans will wake up to reality and see just how much of the game actually needed to be changed.

It's dumb, pointless and it stains the main character of the game. I'm a party pooper I suppose, but it's the only part I hated from the game.
