Forums - Nintendo - Zelda U Tries to “Imitate the Real World", Looks More Amazing than what was shown at E3

Pumped! We probably won't get to see anymore of it for a while though :(
Though I do feel it will be before E3, I think they'd want a trailer out before the last E3 before release (Unless the game gets pushed to 2016 :(

Fucking hell! I just want to see some screenshots caude it sounds more and more intriguing T_T I hope there is a Direct in December with some new footage of this fap worthy game

I prefer to see new footage, especially because if they release some screenshots there will be tons of people pointing to minimal problems with the game's graphics, even if it looks amazing (and I'm sure it'll look better in motion than static). .-.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

scrrenshots or it didn't happen!

God dammit Aonuma stop it! Its already bad enough that E3 is 6 months away, then you have him teasing stuff like this -_-

Graphics be damned. If it's drop dead gorgeous, IE "one of the best looking games of the gen", then so be it.

But far more importantly, if it comes even somewhat close to living up to the potential that a "huge epic, open world 3D Zelda" could offer, then it will win. Just don't tack any stupid gimmicks onto it, only use the GamePad for what makes sense: maps, inventory, etc., and don't deviate from what Zelda is supposed to be all about, going back to the original: exploration. Give me a massive, awesome, "living" world to explore, with PLENTY to keep me occupied just dicking around and checking things out, cool little secrets to find, etc., and I'll be a happy gamer.

Why must you keep teasing us, just show us a trailor. Hopefully we see one in the big January Direct (if there is one) or maybe even the video game awards?

They keep making this game sound more and more epic. I just want to play it so badly.

My thoughts exactly. I know that Aonuma said we'll see more about the game at E3 2015, but it sounds like a common answer... I still believe we'll see a new trailer on The Games Award. Either this or the world premiere of Star Fox Wii U. =)

Guys, this source's translation is totally wrong; actually, the meaning is contrary. Here is original Japanese sentences: リアルな実写感を重視した現実をそのまま模したようなものではなく、見たことのない、でも、過去に見てきた、日本のアニメーションなどにインスパイアされたものとして、あの絵作りになったんですね。
He says, the art style of new Zelda is NOT to just to imitate real world; it is something nobody had seen before, but it is inspired by Japanese animations and other things.
I'm living in Japan, and English is not my first tongue, so my translation is maybe not so correct, but I think some of you can read Japanese, so please check this.

I'll wait for Nintendo to show the game when it's ready. Nintendo has rarely let me down, and I doubt that this game will be a letdown.

Do we really have to wait till E3 to see some more? Aren't there any spys in nintendo?

I've been trying to assemble a team for the mission, but after the last one...uh...went missing, I'm having a bit of a hard time.

Any volunteers?  The mission is dangerous, but the cause is worth it!
