Forums - Nintendo - Insufficient smash bros stock can't meet the high demand in Europe!Smash GC Controllers,GC Adapters and Amiibo will soon run out of stock almost everywhere(mostly in the Uk)!

I was able to find Smash Bros Wii U and the GC adaptator in my local store.... They also had GC controlers.

It's absolutely ridiculous how few GC adaptors were produced..... I havent played smash without a GC controller since melee and im struggling to readjust my muscle memory. Nintendo really dropped the ball on that one.

Yesterday on Black Friday they almost run out of amiibo's, and had only a couple left. I grabbed the last Link by the til!

:O
(I named my amiibo Link "Luka" after Cheshire in Bayonetta who's real name is Luka. XD)

I've seen not a SINGLE GC adapter at any retailer I've visited yesterday (release date). Not even empty space for them. Same with any Smash Bundle version (GC adapter/Amiibo). Amiibos were also on short. Maybe they've got only a handful per character.

As with all other games I might play "ad-hoc" I will go digital for Smash. So hopefully GC adapters will appear in quantity soon.

On Amazon the Smash GC bundle is selling for insane prices... .

Maybe Nintendo was unsure and testing demand. Or they moved all copies to the US for black friday.

I had to buy the GC adapter separately in Switzerland because the ran out of bundles at 10 am... I lost a bit of money but the game is worth it

Around the Network

Well, Now I have 5 Amiibos and I don't have a copy of Smash Bros.

Simple detail is that I am the only Wii U owner of the city, and the guy of the store always get a single copy of the games for me and send the others to his stores across the country, but this time he said he was unable to pick up one.

Awesome! Nice to know that Smash is doing great overseas as well. But, on the other hand, that means that I won't be getting my GC adapter till 2015 cause it looks like it will be out of stock everywhere T_T

Pro controllers will have to suffice :P

Lolll, yea, thats what I am using right now until the third party retail stores can quit being dicks and making the GC adapters cost over $100! Gotta love that 80 hour battery though! Seriously, this shit like never dies!

What??????

In Hungary this costs $10. And there is stock everywhere.

Wouldn't be surprised. Retailers in Europe don't have much trust in WiiU products, so there had to be a moment when they underestimated the demand.
