Wow, that's good news. A Smash Bros. bundle would have sold out pretty fast like the MK8 one did as well. Wasted opportunity by Nintendo.

Later! :(

If you didn't read it,some people will get their pre-orders almost after one month, lol!
The Wii U in general has such poor retailer support in the UK, that I'm not at all surprised by this news.

Some, not all, and that is kinda late, when a new shipment should arrive every week, unless it is Nintendo can't produce enough that is.

They hold their own, but the GCN controller definitely gives me an advantage over less priviledged folks ;) If you're not accustomed to those controllers, the effect might only be minor. Here's hoping that Nintendo hears the cries of the many. Those GCN adapters are made of money - Nintendo MUST realize that most of what's left of their audience is the group that stuck with them during the awesome (but lean) years of the Gamecube era.
EDIT: It seems like shortages have been hurting far too many Wii U related items lately - Bayonetta comes to mind. Maybe all of this will lead retailers to re-evaluate the sales potential of the system. Then again, here's hoping it's not Nintendo who has played things conservatively. Either way, sell-outs mean customers that can't buy your products... but they also mean public awareness that demand for your product is higher than originally percieved.

If the title said Smash only sells 10,000 copies there be 600 replies to this thread by now.
Just saying..

Would that be extraordinary? That has everything to do with expectations. If Smash only sold 10k it would be considered an epic flop. Smash is expected to be WiiU's biggest or at least second biggest game it will ever get, though.
Well, here in Australia, i went to my nearestJB HI FI, and all of the amiibos are fully stocked (at 12pm). But i think they restocked it, since they only showed 6 of each amiibo. And the game is also fully stocked.
But i did hate where they positioned it. I was looking where it is, and i found out it was under/below the 3ds console ( try for free). Really hard to see where it is - only thanks to the kid who was looking at it
lol.
Pocky Lover Boy!

Yeah the GC controller for my friend has been held back to the 5th due to no supply. Silly Nintendo!
