Wow, PS4 looks more and more impressive every week!
X1 doing good too.

Pretty bad analogy as a 10 year old PC wouldn't be able to run the most modern games coming out. Oh well, I'll be patiently awaiting the first good exclusives for a PS4, that will be the main reason why I'll eventually buy a PS4. First party games made by Sony and Nintendo just stand out to me compared to the third party studios (with their annual releases, broken games at launch and what not). |
Well it wasn't really a bad analogy as the older consoles later in their lifespan couldn't really run the games as the developers had in mind either. And the games being released cross gen at the moment look night and day different on each platform (IE Far Cry, Mordor, Dragon Age).
My point was, whilst the games are available on older systems they are in no way more fun when features are stripped out, graphics are massively toned back and your constantly fighting dodgy frame rates and screen tear because games are too ambitious these days to properly run on 2005 specifications.
PREDICTIONS FOR END OF 2015: (Made Jan 1st 2015)
PS4 - 34M - XB1 - 21m - WII U -12M

Infamous SS, Resogun and KZ:SF(just 3 off the top of my head)say hi seeing as they are "good exclusives" now if you were to say the exclusives you prefer that would be different.
OT:
Wow CRAZY numbers for PS4 seems high to me but amazing none the less!
Very good XB1 numbers as well! Holding strong in the US keep it up!
Wii U greater than 100k finally! Nice boost there as well.
Everything else is meh or holding good.
The absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence...

Lol, you can't'???. You have to revisit every Sony forecast from last year. They always screw badly their projections over or under the final number with every product. One example...., they said a year ago, just when PS4 launched that they expected 5m SHIPPED for March 2014, and they ended SELLING more than 7m.
so wiiu
did 86k in US
should do 150k or more this week hopefully
eu should also get a nice boost this week as well
Bets:
(Won)Bet with TechoHobbit: He(Techno) says 10 million by January 1,2014 I say 9 million by then. Winner gets 2 weeks of sig control.
(Lost)Bet with kinisking: I say Ps4 will win April NPD while he says Xbox One will win it; winner gets 1 week of avatar control.
Raichu's First Series:
Official Ni No Kuni Fanboy:
Familiars Captured:37
Game Beaten: 2 times almost
Times I got teary during some scenes: 3

Once again.... they were down last week. The previous week the boost was less than the ps4 had. The big boost previous to that was actually a low absolute number as the starting point was low.

And once again, just because it was down last week, it doesn't mean its drop wasn't lessened by the Halo bundles. With a huge drop in Halo bundle sales this week, GTA V, Far Cry 4 and Dragon Age more than made up for the difference and gave it a 18% increase. It seems rather reasonable with everything considered IMO.
Anyway, we could agree to disagree I guess.

Nintendo just need to accept as soon as possible that WiiU is considered a second purchase console, at best, and price it accordingly. More of 250$ is too much when most people are expecting to spent their money on PS4/XBO or better PC's...., WiiU should be a cheap alternative to PS4/XBO with a price under 200$ in my opinion.

Of course, it is a steep hill to climb. But also impressive that the possibility still exists after XOne's "all-in" strategy.
I do believe, with no proof other than October's XOne overtrack of 20%, that the overtrack carried over to November, and that the difference is much less than VGC's 185K. Even if the overtrack is only 10%, it is still almost 70K. And 100-120K is doable, if we consider many holding off from buying PS4+GTA this week in anticipation of the bundle.
