What?, it has been available since friday itself in Colombia, official stores were delivering their pre-orders Nov 21st and from Saturday everyone who wanted could go and buy the game (but is expensive as usual). Unofficial distributors just got the game this week and not all, but the price is much decent.

Yeah kinda lines up with what I've been seeing, although ancedontally ....

- Good sales of Smash Wii

- Pretty good sales of amiibo

- Not many Wii Us sold though

I think Smash fans tend to be Nintendo fans (whoda thunk that a fanbase for a franchise IP fighter would like those same said IP) though rather than some completely distinct audience base that was just waiting to buy a Wii U only when this game arrived ... so the hardware boost may not be as great as some people hyped. 

Look at the 3DS ... virtually no hardware bump for the 3DS in October even with Smash.

That is really good, especially in just 3days!
And im hearing lots of places being sold out too - shops underestimated it.

For god's sake soundwave...;)!Τhere were a hardware bump for 3ds with smash in Eu and USA(doubling,do you rember?20k-25k->40k->50k and retained these numbers.

It even got one in japan but not high because of the fact that  New3ds/xln was near!soundwave relax...;)
