I think Smash fans tend to be Nintendo fans (whoda thunk that a fanbase for a franchise IP fighter would like those same said IP) though rather than some completely distinct audience base that was just waiting to buy a Wii U only when this game arrived ... so the hardware boost may not be as great as some people hyped. Look at the 3DS ... virtually no hardware bump for the 3DS in October even with Smash. |
For god's sake soundwave...;)!Τhere were a hardware bump for 3ds with smash in Eu and USA(doubling,do you rember?20k-25k->40k->50k and retained these numbers.
It even got one in japan but not high because of the fact that New3ds/xln was near!soundwave relax...;)
