Is TP the worst of the main 3D Zelda?

Yes 111 20.33%

No 434 79.49%

Total:545

I usually rag on Zelda games because a lot of them get such ridiculously high reviews even for using the same game design and items/abilities over and over again, but after a while I realized that the best ones are the more similar ones anyways; so no. TP isn't the worst 3D Zelda. About a tie between MM and SS.

Edit Didn't put "Zelda" after "the worst 3D"

I only have played the NES Zelda, which was amazing and the SNES Zelda, also great.
I had the Ocarine for 3DS but I hated from my very gut.

My grammar errors are justified by the fact that I am a brazilian living in Brazil. I am also very stupid.

Interesting that about 20% of the vote said yes when there are 5 3D Zelda games in the series. A statistical average.

What would be really interesting was if all 5 games were included in a "which is worse" poll. Though I have a feeling the Zelda Cycle would put Skyward Sword at something of a disadvantage there...

Absolutely, and I have no idea how so many people can vote no. Please tell me how the game is anywhere near OoT, MM, TWW, or SS level? It's so far and away from those first three in quality that it may as well be a 3D Sonic game.

It doesn't have MM's horrible 3-day mechanic or WW's coma-inducing sailing and vomit-inducing art style.

So you'd rather a boring rehash that required no skill to beat and offered absolutely nothing new to the franchise?

Btw, I have never met someone who thought TWW's art style was vomit-inducing after playing it. I don't understand that at all.

Absolutely, because the "new things" they have introduced are atrocious. Wind Waker's saliing was just awful; let me walk, not to change the direction of the wind. Majora's Mask system makes the game a bit limited.

If it isn't broken, don't fix it.

My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.

I consider TP the best in the 3D series. It has a long quest, tons of dungeons, a realistic visual style, and an overall dark atmosphere. It was an amazing game that I was sad to see end. For its time, it was the Zelda game I always wanted.

Skyward Sword is easily the worst. Constant hand-holding, a very linear quest, and an extremely limited world made it unbearable. I still haven't beaten it and I doubt I'll ever go back to it.

I'd rather a moody true successor to the best game in the series (Ocarina) that actually listens to what gamers want instead of being a masturbatory aid to Eiji Aonoma's toon fetish. :P

As for WW's art style, the big garish blocks of colour were unattractive enough, but what made it worse was Link and co looking like lovechildren of Stewie from Family Guy and one of the Powerpuff Girls.
