I dont care if people are trying to make jokes. Point is that people aren't suddenly contesting the score, but rather embracing it, so your point is moot. I read it as "If pokemon had less water, it would have gotten higher than 7.8. If Smash had tons of water it would have scored less than 9.8." They are jokes, nothing more, and terrible ones at that.

This is the same outlet that was claimed to have a bias last gen, yet named Galaxy as game of the generation. And when that happened, guess what, it wasn't contested.

When the score isn't what they like, they bitch and moan.

When the score is what they like, they don't contest it like they do the scores they don't like.

I've been around long enough. I've seen how it works.

Great score either way and deserved. Played it myself, but if it's a spade, i'll call it a spade.

A menu? Either that is a horrible menu or they are just nitpicking. I haven't played the game yet & am not saying it automatically should've been a 10. With that said, by the sound of the review, it is a 10 in this reviewers opinion. They want against it just to do it.

I used to be that way, now, I feel a game doesn't have to actually be 100% perfect to get a 10.
