infamous in-game graphics are top notch, particles are insanely beautiful.... dc is right there too... also a game that doesnt get mentioned much is mlb the show ps4,is super sexy..... but everything takes a backseat when the order comes out .....also even though it doesnt go for realism, tomorrows children looks wonderful, those textures, that fantastic lighting, the reflections all incredible....

lol@ryse cutscene images as if were mentally ill,,,,,the thing with ryse is that the main character is pretty close to the camera and you see more detailed, with infamous delsin, you control him further away, but if you manipulate the camera to get a close up of him in-game,he looks  remarkable... also the high res doesnt make things blurry like in ryse.... i wont even mention the lack of physics, overall low res blurryness, super poor framerate, incredible linearness in ryse... compare a sorta similiar game on ps4 like the order, pushing more pixels, better textures, better shading, much better particle effects, holy chit this is a understatement, and i cant imagine a framerate as poor(latest vids froma few months back look like a solid 30).ridiculous  character models that make ryse look like a 360 game, physics to the point you blow holes in buildings  ect ect.   xone cant possible have a game to ever match what infamous/and especially the order look like cause of that gpu in the one is never changing

Which is the best looking console game on current game right now? (Until The Order crushes everything, then there won't be any discussion).

From what I've played, Infamous Second Son would take the cake, but damn, Far Cry 4 is very impressive. And I haven't played Driveclub yet, but that one looks amazing too.

If the order is a corridor game it wont crush anything.

The less you have to display the more you can focus on the few things you have.

E.g look at Mario 64 head vs ingame graphics (or Heavy Rain etc)

Some humans in here were really startled by that Eurogamer MK8 best visuals thing...
"Damage control full speed!"
" Aye aye Captain!!!"
Must have been difficult for some to find sleep...
It was just an opinion article, I'm sure you can find dozens of articles on the web stating otherwise!
The only thing that comes out of this is how insecure some are about their personnal tastes or lack tolerance over other personnal preferences!
It's like some think they "own" gaming...

Well I do "own" everyone on the groovin' matter:

Do the Bender! Do the Bender! Do the Bender!Hoooooooooooo!!!

What was the point in this comment? No one here is talking about the MK8 article. We have threads asking this question every few weeks/months, have done for years.

vs

I'm gonna say Ryse, makes inFamous SS look like a PS3 game.

I'm amazed a PS3 game can look like that. Nice comparison by the way, no bias at all.

Still not as good to me.

Your first comparison u had a point, but you shot yourself in the foot here as this clearly gives the edge to Infamous.

As close as they are however, my main reason for giving it to Infamous is that it looks this good as an open world game and delivers a smooth performance throughout with much more going on.  Ryse was much more linear and still managed to drop frames occasionally.

In these shots, maybe SS really have an edge. But it's good to note that SF terrain and vegetation are much better than these two.

On the contrary, I think it has everything to do with the commotion this article made but hey, don't take my word if you don't wanna. I love connecting dots & when dots keep on appearing in front of me, I connect them, I may be wrong but one thing I certainly won't do is have a blindsided view of my surroundings...

Changing subject: Do the Bender! Do the Bender! Do the Bender! Hooooooooooooo!!!

To those who picked Ryse, if your game basically runs like at movie like frame rates below 1080p it should not be called a show case, if anything it shows that the console it's on cannot handle really nice graphics, you may as well enter CGI cut scenes as "best graphics"...

Now on to the real threats, Infamous:SS made my GF take notice, the first time I crossed the broken bridge to go into Seatle. The lighting, the great AA, the scale and the detailed graphics were leagues beyond anything seen before!

Same for Killzone:SF, it clearly stood out as crisp and clean, the frame rate was better than typical FPSes on previous gen consoles, there were a good number of enemies, the scale of the environment is pretty nice too... it had tons of effects never seen before on consoles too! oh and the sound, if you have a good sound system it really stands out!

and well, I got DriveClub as well, the AA did not impress me so much, but the game as a whole looks amazing, again the realistic lighting sets the mood in a way I have never seen in a racing game before!

All the multi-platform and cross gen titles I tried so far seemed a couple of notch below the platform exclusives listed above on a purely technical level, they all disapointed me.
