To those who picked Ryse, if your game basically runs like at movie like frame rates below 1080p it should not be called a show case, if anything it shows that the console it's on cannot handle really nice graphics, you may as well enter CGI cut scenes as "best graphics"...
Now on to the real threats, Infamous:SS made my GF take notice, the first time I crossed the broken bridge to go into Seatle. The lighting, the great AA, the scale and the detailed graphics were leagues beyond anything seen before!
Same for Killzone:SF, it clearly stood out as crisp and clean, the frame rate was better than typical FPSes on previous gen consoles, there were a good number of enemies, the scale of the environment is pretty nice too... it had tons of effects never seen before on consoles too! oh and the sound, if you have a good sound system it really stands out!
and well, I got DriveClub as well, the AA did not impress me so much, but the game as a whole looks amazing, again the realistic lighting sets the mood in a way I have never seen in a racing game before!
All the multi-platform and cross gen titles I tried so far seemed a couple of notch below the platform exclusives listed above on a purely technical level, they all disapointed me.
