It looks like it's not GOTY material after all. Why is the new trend releasing with bugs? Also, at least I can play FF7 on it.

That's a shame but I'll still be picking it up I don't really care if LBP 3 is not the game to show me the true might and power of the PS4 hardware and the bugs will probably be fixed by the time I play it.

I hope the Day 1 patch fixes the mess. With that said, I was worried that characters would not be handled well. I guess that leaves DLC and user created levels to fix that problem.

Gamespot said(or maybe it was IGN, cant remember) they reviewed it with the day 1 patch.  Id say another patch fixing the problem would be within a week or two though

i just can't take reviewers seriously anymore. i played last night and it was awesome.

i am a little dissapointed at this outcome.  Come on Sony can you make a game that I can buy for this console

It's still pretty good but a considerable drop from LBP1 and LBP2. I guess this might be the last of its kind.

Surprised at all these bugs in Sony's game sad to hear. Oh well exclusives are not the reason I'm buying the PS4 neither console has an exclusive that can do that for me. Dragon Age has my attention now for the next few months anyways.

Its not amazing, but its definitely not a terrible score either. Seems to be a more realistic score for the series though. I've always loved LittleBigPlanet, but aside from the sharing features and the cute art direction, the core gameplay felt a bit sloppy & imprecise.

This is just one of those games where I've seen so much good gameplay and the criticism seems to be that of a 9/10 that I just don't care about metascore lol

They'll fix the bugs and the platforming has always fit with the tone of the game for me. Also low number of team-up levels is fine those will come from users which is where you get the most use out of LBP anyway. Most say the story is nice and this is a game where you have to see what the community does to get the real value. Also they've been extra hard on some exclusives I've loved like First Light, Second Son, and Killzone this gen so I trust critics less each day and mainly watch their review videos for raw footage.
