So you guys think DonFerrari has a deeper problem lying underneath it all...

I purchased a AC:U key for $40 (excellent deal at the time). Really regretting it now.

So yes, occasionally, I am a sheep :(

Xbox One - PS4 - Wii U - PC

The last full retail game I bought was COD: Black Ops. So no.

I play games I like, and don't play games I don't like. Politics never enter into my decision making process. Free time and the value of a game to me always do. I don't do things for silly ideals. Which is why I have games on both Steam AND Origin.

I only preorder and buy games that I know I will enjoy. That means that even if it is full of bugs and barely playable I will still have fun with it.

I guess that means mindless sheep for me. Daring to enjoy something that is not up to other people's standards.

I don't have a shitload of money, so whenever i buy a game i enjoy it, because I do proper research before buying it, which prevents me from being disappointed.

Didn't buy any of the 4 games you listed, guess I'm not a sheep!

Whenever I see something I want, I research for the game online and compare scores between publications. I try not to use Metacritic's score as a ultimate decider. Now, if it's a game I've been expecting for months and months, I buy it day 1. Unfortunately, games like that usually have some kind of review embargo, and developers have found a good way for gamers not to detract from their purchase. If a game already is from a good developer, like Naughty Dog, for example, or it's a highly acclaimed series like GTA, then I'll buy it, but not mindlessly, since I know these will deliver.

Every time a game like Parity or BF4 or even DC or Halo:MCC comes out with a shitload of glitches we promisse to boycott it and never again buy from that developer, yet we go there and buy the shitgame FW and preorder the sequel but keep complaining about how shit and greed the dev is.

Do you keep far from shit products or you are a sheep buying in droves?

Ps: this looks like politics, we protest like lions and vote like asses.

Correction: YOU "promisse to boycott it."

I don't necessarily "boycott" games because there's always still a chance that they'll be really good.***

Like COD Ghosts vs. Advanced Warfare, Aliens: Colonial Marines vs. Alien: Isolation or Dragon Age 2 vs. Inquisition.

Just because the last one was bubbling garbage floating in the Hudson, doesn't mean the next one won't be absolutely amazing. Developers might change, or they may see the error of their ways, and then actually work to make a good game. I mean, most developers don't make enough money to keep shoveling crap, and if they do they're going out of business like Airtight or THQ did.

I think that there's still a chance for people to see what's wrong with their games and try to make them better, and I do think that, even if developers/publishers do sell out crap (Sims 4) there's still potential for something really good (Dragon Age: Inquisition).

***Except Sonic. I will never buy another Sonic game, and I stand by that one. ESPECIALLY after Lost World, and now with this whole Sonic Boom crap. Seriously, go watch Game Grumps play Sonic Boom! It's fucking awful! I desperately want SEGA to stop killing my childhood icon and just let it go out with some form of dignity.

When I say I boycott something, I boycott that something. Still have yet to buy a game that has more DRM than Steam, and I haven't paid much for games that use Steam as their DRM either. There's other similar examples as well but that's the most distinct one.
