Forums - Sales - Global Hardware 8th of November 2014

Whoa! I was way off with thinking that November 8th numbers wouldn't be in until next week.

Pretty cool to see VGChartz catch back up! I was worried when they started falling behind a bit recently.

Xbox One's US sales must have been other worldly...

Going by MS PR, 3x the week prior in US so 300k +-.

And going by they just saying they led for 2 weeks in USA then the gap wasn't immense and WW they were outsold.

great numbers for X1 and normal for ps4.

I dunno about that, it could still be a huge gap between Xbox One and PS4 in the US. PS4 does so much better in Europe that it could more than make up for a big gap.

Do you think that if they had outsold ps4 in USA by big numbers like 2:1 they wouldn't boast this part as well?

PS4 and X-Box are so close in numbers. Great numbers overall.

Considering they are only talking about 2 weeks here and I'm not even sure how much they would know about the PS4 sales for those weeks...

We will know but probably 1.5:1 and WW below.

Wow, well played Sony! No wonder they didn't drop the price. They will sell every unit they make regardless. Their competitor foots the bill on marketing for the biggest 3rd party game this year and still almost breaks even for that games sales in the US. Then they sit back doing nothing but others bundle and price drop like crazy and still can't pass them. Also, the UK is definitely lost from MS now. Even CoD week couldn't push X1 ahead of PS4 now.

So Sunset + Price drop failed to beat the PS4. PS4 is a monster.

good xbox one numbers. price cut plus bundles was all they need to be competitive

Pretty good week all round really
