Exactly what I think, some games are picked to be destroyed and some to be glorified.

I don't really know why they do this, people end up disliking something they actually did not even tried or saw enough just because they heard/read it's bad, and why it's bad? the game is actually broken or low quality? nope, it's only because that in a bunch was picked to be the bad, cliche, repetitive, boring, and people pass it to each other, without even having tried it to actually have a formed opinion about it.


Now i think it's too late, whatever the qualities of the game, it's a placebo effect, for most of them, they already made their opinion on the game, it's a bad game ( based on 5min...) so they expect a bad game, they dont have a neutral opinion anymore.

 

That's why you always need to show the good parts of a game for the previews , because it's important for the review. Or if you really cant show nothing enough satisfying, better to show nothing ( except the good tesla trailer )then surprise everyone, than something that will impact final reviews in a negative way

It may turn out to be amazing, but that may not reflect in its metacritic. That's what this thread is all about, read my post above yours and you'll know why.

As for BloodBorne. Because it's another Demon's/ Dark Souls-esque niche title that is taking those games' formula and making it even more insane, I can see that getting a 90 + easily. The previews for it have been nothing but outstanding. 


They are trying to mirror the Uncharted method. First game is purely for story and mechanics and the rest are story/multiplayer.

Ever since the delay, it doomed itself to sub-80. Will be surprised if it floats above 75.

You say games deserve scores all the time. And you have no idea how the menus are set up. How the game runs. How they have improved the game. Thats like saying you know how the new amazing spider man is because you saw spider man 1.

I just want to know what the game is like now. We haven't seen anything new for it in months. They've gone pretty quiet with updates.

Its a Sony first party game so yeah most likely except if you add a 1 to every reviewscore thats what their games really deserve because the media always finds ways to score Sony games lower. If a review scores 6 then its really a 7 if it scores 8 then its really a 9.
