So, what is going to be the story of this film?

Han Solo, Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa and co., having vaquished the Evil Empire, reunite in search of the greatest treasure the galaxy has to offer.

A shitton of money.

Do not like.

Proud to be the first cool Nintendo fan ever

Number ONE Zelda fan in the Universe

DKCTF didn't move consoles

Prediction: No Zelda HD for Wii U, quietly moved to the succesor

Predictions for Nintendo NX and Mobile

Generic title, pretty terrible.

Hate on the Phantom Menace title all you want, but it actually makes sense and is creative. The movie's plot was the opposite, though.

Hmmmm... Title isn't bad but I'm still skeptical. Sequel could be mehhh; make good reviews yet will make most fans unhappy, or will blow everyone's minds apart like back in 1977.

Hmmm is it called "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" or "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens"? If it's the former Disney will be getting a strongly worded letter from me

Totally agree.

But remember Han Solo dismissing talk of the Force with “Hokey religions and ancient weapons are no match for a good blaster at your side, kid.” Maybe this energy that binds the galaxy together has only been visible to a select few, while the denizens of the galaxy put their faith in the science and technology of interstellar travel?

This is what it's all about. Under the Empire, the regular people saw nothing of the Force and the Jedi became fairy tales. As it is in the Expanded Universe, Luke Skywalker reestablished the Jedi Order and society reverted slowly to what it was like before the Empire (up to Revenge of the Sith). I reckon that will happen in Episode 7.

It's a good title in this regard. I like it. And I'm psyched for the movie !

I found that line by Han odd after watching the prequels.  The force and Jedis were everywhere when Han was a kid, and yet within a generation their ways become viewed as outdated and weapons "ancient".  That either means the Empire had incredible reach and cultural dominance (not really shown on Tatooine in the original Star Wars) or people just had really short memories. There were still living people who would have witnessed the Clone Wars when Han is an adult.  Closest analogy I can draw in our world would be people now acting like the Soviet Union was some odd ancient state.

Yeah, I agree it was a little too soon for the Republican ways to be forgotten. Using the 'traditional' year numbering in Star Wars; Episode IV is year 0, Episode III is year -19 and Episode VI is year 4. This new movie is like 30 years after VI or something, but that's still just about 50 years after III.

It is what it is though and I'm not that bothered, it's not the only hole .

Hmm... the title is lacking oomph.

Its not like the force wasnt active before... so what is it awakening from? Weird...
