This is what it's all about. Under the Empire, the regular people saw nothing of the Force and the Jedi became fairy tales. As it is in the Expanded Universe, Luke Skywalker reestablished the Jedi Order and society reverted slowly to what it was like before the Empire (up to Revenge of the Sith). I reckon that will happen in Episode 7.

It's a good title in this regard. I like it. And I'm psyched for the movie !

I found that line by Han odd after watching the prequels.  The force and Jedis were everywhere when Han was a kid, and yet within a generation their ways become viewed as outdated and weapons "ancient".  That either means the Empire had incredible reach and cultural dominance (not really shown on Tatooine in the original Star Wars) or people just had really short memories. There were still living people who would have witnessed the Clone Wars when Han is an adult.  Closest analogy I can draw in our world would be people now acting like the Soviet Union was some odd ancient state.
