I believe they know better than you do about that (bold) :)
More marketshare = more game, live, accessory sales = more money at the end...

yet MS hasnt turned a profit on the xbox in all these years with all the R&D cost and losses on system, not to mention the blunder that was RROD,  its the reason they took losses from 2001-2010 and only started making money on it in the last 4 years and with the xbox1 pricecut, and free game deals and whatnot im sure they are taking a loss again.  the rumors about spinning the brand off or selling it im sure will come back.,

You are talking like the brand means nothing, you know in the big picture it is important to count that too. The value of the brand itself is enough :)
You realize Sony did lose a LOT of money on PS3 like Microsoft with the 360 for instance and I do not see them spining off the Playstation division. The brand worth a huge pile of money.

Microsoft is investing in Xbox because the brand is now very well know. Microsoft will never let this go as one of their priority is to be the center piece of the living room. If Xbox One will not meet their expectation in that area, they will at least have build a good footing for the next generation. Not to mention Xbox Music, Xbox Videos etc...

You must look at the overall picture.

And as far as the rumors... They are exactly that: rumors.

i know the xbox brand is worth money thats why investors keep saying to sell it that its not part of MS core buisness, which its not.   There was rumor last year that they(certain big investors) wanted MS to look and see if Samsung wanted to buy the XBox brand.

The list has updated. Interestingly enough COD AW(PS4) has passed COD AW(XB1).

Bundles will balance it out.

Won bet with t3mporary_126 - I correctly predicted that the Wii U's LTD at the end of 2014 would be closer to 9 million than 10 million. http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/post.php?id=6673287

It's odd because the best of 2014 sales the PS4 version isn't even in the top 100. So how is it ahead for november when the game launched this month?

I will update regularly throughout the month

hope its for more then a month or two, keep it up all year.

I forgot about the day zero version. I'm assuming they combined the versions sales, becasue for november the standard PS4 version is ahead of both XB1.

OP list updated.

Both PS4 skus and the regular Xbox One up a few places, Sunset Overdrive dropping significantly due to stock issues

Hmmm. You must be from the UK or something since in the US you put the month before the day...

OT: XB1 is doing very well this month but how long can it last? This month will be very interesting. Best time of the year for sales nerds like me.
