Its nice to see that for a change :D lol. It always seems that Nintendo has to care their own systems.

Not only feasible but likely easier than Xenoblade in terms of technical demand...except for the fact that they have to remake the whole control system.
| SJReiter said: To all the people saying there will be a Pokémon Z: that would mean 3 straight years of new Pokémon games (I know ORAS are remakes but still). Do you really think 3 years of new Pokémon is really realistic? |
Um... yes. Pokémon has turned into an annual release.
Bravely Second
Codename S.T.E.A.M
Kaio: King of Pirates
Monster Hunter 4G
Monolith Soft game
Final Fantasy Explorers
Tales of the World Rave Unitia
Yokai Watch..
Not all confirmed but pretty good list and there willbe many games we don't even know
for comparison here are the major release from this year (US releases, other regions may vary)
February-Bravely Default
March-Yoshi's New Island
May-Kirby Triple Deluxe+Mario Golf: World Tour
June-Tomodachi Life
August-Professor Layton vs Ace Attorney
September-Final Fantasy Curtain Call
October-Super Smash Bros 3DS+Fantasy Life
November-Pokemon Omega Ruby/Alpha Saphhire+Persona Q+Sonic Boom
basically a handful of 1st party games and a handful of Japanese localizations along with a bunch of games based on children's television shows/movies/toys.
next year will most likely be similar. Xenoblade, Codename Steam, Fossil Fighters and Detective Pikachu are all 1st party games scheduled for next year and a few others that are extremely likely to appear are Majora's Mask 3D+Pokemon Z. from Japanese 3rd parties we know about Bravely Second, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, Final Fantasy Explorers, Attack on Titan, Youkai Watch and there will undoubtedly be a bunch more children games from western 3rd parties.
When the herd loses its way, the shepard must kill the bull that leads them astray.

Do you refuse to understand it? Wii U sales haven't gone up by the same magnitude that 3DS sales have gone down. I would not have made the Wii U at all. That's the root cause of Nintendo's home console problems, the existence of this heavily flawed product. Even if Nintendo had prepared properly for this system by increasing their development staff tremendously, the console would still have been a failure. But to answer your question about HD, the successor of the Wii should have been capable of putting out HD resolutions, but not necessarily be as powerful as the Wii U. Why? Because graphics aren't that important, but they are costly to make. Also, you continue to provide funny quotes:
Change the appropriate words to "3DS" and "handhelds" and it's just as true. Eighth generation Nintendo suffers mightily from stupid decisions in the planning phase, for both their handheld and home console. |
Guess we're at an impasse; you don't believe handheld gaming is dying, I do. Not really much more to say as all the other points are built upon this foundation of disagreement.

From a graphical perspective, it should actually be easier; Skyward Sword didn't even really push the Wii.
The problem is the controls; how would you replicate the motion plus on 3DS?
Did you just saying Xenoblade is third party? - I'm pretty sure its second party which is basically first-party WITH ATTITUDE.

Nope, it's full-on first party. Nintendo owns Monolith.

Only 96%+, which is no different than 0% when you stop to think about it.
