Do we have to hear this? No its in development, Tourney mode is in development, Other Stages are in development, free updates (mewtwo free with purchased both games).

Its not "only" gained by both versions, its free dlc if you have both, in other words a bonus!

They don't specify, but yeah, I'm thinking it will be avilable to those who don't register by paid DLC.

Not even sure why I complained, since I already have the 3DS version and will get the U version

Having finished the video, it's true that it's not as clear cut as stated in the OP. That said, it's incredibly ambiguous: if they intended to sell it as DLC to everyone, they certainly didn't doa  good job of communicating.

it is.  They had him in Melee and didn't charge now he needs to be paid hundreds of dollars for (3DS plus Smash 3DS)?  Isn't it enough that they're getting sales from two versions?  Isn't it enough to just charge a couple bucks for him?
