I tend have a high level of tolerance of violent video games. Even for me though, this definitely crosses the line.

I'm stepping into this debate cause I feel there's something to say here

- Postal, Manhunt, SpecOps:The Line. Same thing. I felt the same in one of the mission of Frozen Synapse where you have to shoot civilians.
- Also, replace 'innocents' with 'zombies dressed as innocents' and you're good to go (Dead Nation seems to be an inspiration for Hatred).
- This trailer makes me sick and I won't watch it again. I'm still wondering if I ever saw any form of enemy retaliating or trying to shoot the killer, even in the preccinct
- I have the feeling people who 'protects' GTA are hypocrites. Either BAN THIS SICK FILTH, or let both be.
- If you don't like it, don't buy it, AND don't advertise it

Disgusting game that's based on the filth in some people's hearts. There are a lot of other games were you can kill the civillians, should you CHOOSE to, but never is it the sole purpose of the whole game. Those who don't see the difference by now are not going to change their minds by discussing it.

so what is the point in postal if u dont kill civilians? the "story"?

Where did you see me praise the likes of Postal and Manhunt?

I'm sure you've heard of Payday: The Heist?

It was popular enough that it even got a sequel. The sole purpose of the game is theft, more or less requiring that you murder completely innocent people to accomplish this. You sure as hell better be ready to shoot the cops too, or else you will lose.

Money can't buy happiness. Just video games, which make me happy.

It's pretty much what I've been doing in most games, except now it's the objective. I'm probably gonna buy this, cause it looks pretty fun. Like a horror movie/game but you're the bad guy.

I hope UK doesn't allow it to be sold. It is a pretty sick idea.

Pretty much how I feel, and I don't understand the people who are defending this "game". There has to be a line drawn somewhere... this isn't GTA, not even close, or even Manhunt or Postal.

One thing I don't agree on is that this will not set the industry "back to the 90s". The 90s never featured games dedicated to wanton violence and destruction just for violence's sake. Doom and Mortal Kombat are both industry classics, and are both E-rated games compared to this garbage.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.
