Forums - Nintendo - Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker is a pretty game

It looks very good. That trailer definitely hyped my up for this game. Hopefully it can achieve good sales too (500k-750k WW would be pretty good).

Predictions for LT console sales:

PS4: 120M

XB1: 70M

WiiU: 14M

3DS: 60M

Vita: 13M

You say tomato, I say tomato

"¡Viva la Ñ!"

It really is a complete overload in the cuteness department.

Just looks so unique as a game and as an art style. Can't wait to play it! ^_^

The mole usually goes by Monty in other Mario games, but since this is a mario themed game instead of a Mario game... we'll have to wait and see

I cashed in a couple of Digital Deluxe codes last night and wound up on the Wii U eShop. I was seeing what was coming up and stumbled across a Captain Toad trailer. Holy balls, did the game look good. When it got to the part with the dragon, I was sold. Best looking game I've ever seen. I'm sure somebody will show me the algorithm proving that the game is no better than an N64 title on a technical level but my eyes know what they like and they like this game.

Bugger the algorithms, art > tech as far as producing an appealing end result.

I myself wouldn't go so as to say this is the prettiest game I'm ever seen, (that's still Trine 2 for me) but it looks like it will proudly join Mario Kart 8, 3D World, and Art of Balance as one of the most beautiful current gen titles to date, in my book.
