Ha ha, these are my sentiments exactly, right down to blue being my fav color. But I've always loved Groudon, and I kind of have the tradition of going with the version's whose mascot I most like.

If they have Battle Frontier and move tutors in these games I'll probably get omega ruby at launch.
If either of these is missing I'll wait at least half a year I think.

I always had the chance to play pokémon with my brother, with him always buying the other version so I always had access to both version's pokémons.

I picked Saphire years ago and I'm sticking to it this november, my brother will play Omega Ruby. My brother always had a thing for the cool looking pokémons while I was more attracted to the gracefull pokémons (also the fact that they were usually the lesser popular of the two helped satisfy my inner hipster lol). So I picked Hoh Oh over Lugia, Xerneas over Yveltall and that was the partly the reason why I picked Kyogre over Groudon.

Probably None this time, because i didn't really liked Ruby/saphir.

I will wait for the next pokemon game, if it's a little different from X/Y.

I had both when I was in elementary school. However, when I was at daycare one day, some other kid stole both games, ALONG with my strategy guide. It was the worst. I think I had beaten the elite four but I don't think I got much farther than that.
So, if I get one it will be Ruby, because red is my favorite color. Although I don't need more 3DS games.

I would have poisoned that kid if he returned.

Does anyone know if for the charts does it count each one by its self or put the two games and count the sales that way?

Sappire was the version I got in 2003 when I was 9. So that will be the version I get. This doesn't rule out the possibility of getting Ruby at a later date.
