I thought I'd be hyped for Gen 3 remakes (I've been waiting for a long time after all), but sadly, I'm not, for several reasons:

1.They're using the crappy Gen 6 engine. I would've loved it if they made the remakes in Gen 5, or even if they waited until they've gotten a better understanding of the 3DS' capabilities in Gen 7.

2.The character redesigns are absolute garbage! Not only are they not supposed to change the designs, because it's a damn remake, but the new designs are terrible! Like, what's with all of these girls in short shorts/lately lately?

3.I'm just not feeling the magic. I've been hyped for BW2 and XY, but XY dissapointed me, which is affecting my hype for AROS.

Alpha Sapphire for sure. Pokemon Gen 3 is by far the best!

Oh God the feels!

I'd love it if they'd include an item like that. Part of what annoyed me about HGSS' GB Player was the fact that it did not accurately play the tunes, something that I doubt would be a problem for the 3DS, given the fact that it can emulate the GBA, GBC and GB a lot better than the DS.

I'm getting Omega Ruby..but not till Christmas. My sister recently let me borrow Heartgold to get hyped for the new remake, and this way I can catch both Latias and Latios without cheating (or buying another game). I recently got back into the series with X/Y, and since my sister decided which one I would get last year, I get to make the decision this year. Looking forward to it!

Omega Ruby first. I generally get both versions at some point as I like to have one version that's my "main version" while I have another that I can use for repeat playthroughs.

To that extent though, it's mystifying why we can't have multiple saves for people who want to do this, like myself.
