Wow, such polarized reviews, from a 5.9/10 all the way up to a 93/100. It has a 84% ranking on Gamerankings for PS4 which certainly indicates a good game. I'll buy this for the suspense and faithful reproduction of the Alien universe. I like my games to be difficult so the hard difficulty shouldn't be too much of a problem.

You want really polarized reviews, that's nothing. Check out this game http://www.metacritic.com/game/playstation-3/beyond-two-souls/critic-reviews up from 10/10 to a 1/5 (from a troll site though) but there were 4s from well known sites as well

So it is happening...PS4 preorder.

Greatness Awaits!

Oh wow lol. Gamespot actually praised Beyond whilst IGN gave it an average score, usually Gamespot are quite harsh in their reviews. I actually own Beyond but have never played it, need to get around to it cause I loved Heavy Rain!

Well reviews won't tell you what to expect from it, that's for sure

A friend of mine summerized IGN's review perfectly: "Enemy A.I. being unpredictable in a horror game is a bad thing."

My "favorite" part of IGN's review is when he actually said the xenomorph's invuneralbility was a game design flaw.

He really said that? Not being able to destroy the alien is the main feature of the game, it is what sets it apart from games like Colonial Marines. Even if the game is average(I don't know as I have not played it yet), I can appreciate the developers choice to not make this a typical shooter. Even the old school resident evil games which were strong survival horror, contained alot of 'action', probably because gamers love games with guns. The way this game was handled is against the grain which i can admire.

IGN really has problems with slower paced games

A cool feature I just thought of regarding the invulnerability of the xenomorph; it would make for a tense battle to actually lure out the alien, try to deal it as much damage as possible to it (without being able to kill it though), and depending on how much damage you dealt the longer it'll take to for it to return to hunt you. That way you'd have to make a decision; try and confront it for the benefit of being left alone a longer time (but maybe dying while trying) or just try to avoid it all together.

Whatcha guys think?

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
