Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Wii U now now has folders

thats a plus, now i can make a new T folder, to put all the crap i dont want or need in it and forget about it on the opposite side of the menu.

much better than just a stability update.

Nintendo is unbearably slow with this kind of crap. It's embarassing.

When can I watch Netflix without the gamepad? Hulu plus? I can use the eShop without it, but I still can't buy anything without the gamepad. What's the point? And why do VC releases take forever?

There's so much they need to do and they just don't do it.

Well you're barking up the wrong tree then. Ask Netflix/Hulu since they make the app.

VC Releases take forever because Dan Adelman wanted to prioritize indies and this method has apparaently been fruitful.

The fact that they just implemented this is saddening. There is so much work that needs to be done on this console. :/

so when Sony finally implements folder for PS4 it will be worst than saddening?

Wait, does PS4 lacks of this basic feature? Oh, what a terrible inferior piece of hardware.

At least Nintendo have a system that doesn't need monthly updates

Actually monthly updates wouldn't be such a bad thing for the Wii U.

yep. atm it has windows 8 style tiles but in 1 row. The first tile is always the last thing you used.

Above the titles is a row of system option icons in a row

below the tiles is some feed updates on games you played

My 3DS has had folders for years. BOTH consoles are inferior!

good improvement. Still waiting on that highly sought after friends notification number on the actual home screen... *bangs head*

Well, the WiiU should have had folders since launch! I feel like people have all the rights to be negative.. :/

So when a problem is resolved, the correct thing to do is to still complain?

It's good that the problem was resolved, but it was resolved too late. Also, it's not like this is the only feature that the WiiU should have had since its launch.

Yes, but now Wii U is superior to PS4 because it has folders. Nothing surprising, though, just to confirm.

Console got updated alone, was surprised when I saw the new home menu.

UI shortcuts are getting cramped down there, since our PAL WiiU's will never get whatever TVii is, they should just blast that icon from using up precious screen real state... xD

BTW the quickstart filters don't seem to work.
