This..For those haters of fussing over Bayonetta 2 the sales figures are not that bad for a start.

People really need to get this through their heads -- games in Japan generally only usually get 2-3 days of sales their first week.
It's like saying a movie didn't bomb because it only opened on Friday and that's only three days worth of ticket sales. Almost all movies open on Friday.
It's been done this way for almost 24 years now in Japan after the Super Famicom launch caused near riots at some stores (oh, how far Nintendo consoles and consoles in general have fallen since) during a weekday, the Japanese government asked game makers to schedule game launches on the weekends so kids wouldn't skip school. So this isn't a new thing either unless Home Alone and Die Hard 2 are "new" movies in your book.
The bulk of most games sales are in the first 2 days and most games only get 2-3 days in their "first week". Super Smash Bros. 3DS also launched on a Saturday. So did Pokemon X/Y. Most Nintendo games launch on a Saturday, a handful of (usually Mario games) they allow to release on Thursday. That's it.
38k opening for a game is not great. In virtually any circumstance unless there was some freak issue like a tsunami or massive shipping issues, neither of which are the case here.

First again it was 2 days which about the same as most new games get. 2nd it SHOULD NOT be reassuring because it means that NIN didn't have much faith in the game to ship only about 60,000 units for a new game. Also just because someone does feel the sales are "good" does not make them a hater to even imply that is silly.
The absence of evidence is NOT the evidence of absence...

The excuses on Bayonetta 2 two days sales is sad. Look at the the games that also had two days sales in Japan. All are considered first week. Now look at their 2nd week, you see what happen is that they all have a huge drop compare to their 1st week. Check out Hyrule Warrior 1st(4 days) and 2nd week, it dropped like a bomb. Also, if you says 2 days isn't considered a 1st week sales then look at the PS4, 2 days as well but it's also considered a first week in Japan. Deal with it, Bayonetta sales will drop next week.

Future DLC confirmed?

I think it can outsell 360 version, at least |
It sold a bit over half of Bayo 1 360 version's sales and the 360 version of Bayonetta 1 sold more in one day(45k) than Bayo 2's sales in 2 days(38.5k). So I doubt it will outsell it.

? Bad Buzz you mean.
Bayonetta is WAY WAY too much sexualised for Smash bros. Samus zero suit is already on the edge of the problem, the game don't need more.
Real shame, I'm picking up a WiiU next year and I'm definitely going to support platinum, it looks awesome, just needs the advertising.

I own PlayStation, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 2 slim, PlayStation 3 60gb, PlayStation 3 slim 1tb, PSP, PS Vita 32gb and PlayStation 4.
Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy/colour, Advance/Sp, Wii.

Well I never expected a xonsole game to sell well there.
