Polygon crapping on Destiny to downplay PS4, nothing to see here folks.

How does a game more than a year away have anything to do with Destiny? Halo 5 will be successful regardless of Destiny or any other shooter.

I'm actually surprised they kept this attitude up from last gen.

Yep, selling millions with many positive reviews is troubled now.

Most reviews were average. And some people claimed this game would be a COD and Halo killer, and it clearly isn't.

That is those people's own fault for expecting that.

Why would Activision want to make a CoD Killer?

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

Got a retro room? Post it here!

Really don't understand the mass amount of people defending Destiny. The game is not what it was meant to be. Doesn't hold a candle to Halo.

I guess certain fans are just rejoicing that they get to play a sci-fi game with an actual colour palette to it.

Article in under 50 words:
Destiny's record sales, despite being a poor game, prove that people are desperate for a sci-fi space opera shooter. Halo as a franchise, is so thoroughly superior in about 90 ways, that it is going to be explosive when it's released.

Sorry, but anything written by Polygon isn't taken seriously by me. We know their history.

You know... most reviews were over 8/10 score... that is not average.

Well there's no point in denying the fact that COD is dying slowly. Activision doesn't want to kill COD but they do want the most popular FPS franchise.

Did you played the Alpha/Beta?

The game is exactly what people expected after you know play it.

That why some people loved it.
