what!? Bungie made Oni? That was, I think, the first game I ever bought for ps2.
(it was horrible)

Yeah, this came as news to me as well. I remember playing this at a friends house when he first got the PS2.

iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.

Currently playing:

Final Fantasy VI (iOS), Final Fantasy: Record Keeper (iOS) & Dragon Quest V (iOS)

I think I remember playing the first couple levels and then casually putting it back in the case and never touching it again.

EDIT: That was really the only time I've ever done that with a game I owned, tbh.

Fortunately for me I never owned it, but I do feel bad for my friend now.

Yep, selling millions with many positive reviews is troubled now.

"Destiny's commercial success, including sales of $325 million in its first five days, is a clear sign that large numbers of people still want to play Halo-like shooting games in a sci-fi setting. This may seem like a constant given, but tastes change, especially during console transitions."

On ps4.

That is the biggest assumption I've ever seen in my life. I like Halo the games are good but this idea that they are so much different then other shooter is ridiculous.

Really the only FPS that I can think of that was different was the first F.E.A.R. game. The AI in that game was insane they would make serious attempts to try and flank you. Other then that most FPS games are the same and I don't notice much difference. The sad thing is I thought AI would get better after that game but it's pretty mucht the same thing. At least Destiny's AI actually looks for cover once their shields go down. It's annoying as hell to me but it makes the game harder.

I think all developers would love to have a "troubled" launch like Destiny did.

Most reviews were average. And some people claimed this game would be a COD and Halo killer, and it clearly isn't.

What a surprise! A Polygon article shitting on Destiny?

"Troubled launch" What the hell? It's just the most successive new IP launch in history of videogames!

Don't know what you think 'average' is but even people's precious metacritic has 30 or more reviews at 8 or above. And more than 50% in their 'positive' section.

It may not be a CoD killer but to call it troubled is ridiculous.

Hmm, pie.
