Can you imagine if they actually released it right on Black Friday, since Friday is when new Nintendo releases come out anyways? That could actually be kind of a brilliant move to make the Wii U stand out over the PS4/X1 on shopping's biggest day...

Don't worry. I'm 100% sure Smash will be out this year. I think it's gonna be out at black friday.
If not, it's gonna be there for christmas.

It would be very bad as it would leave then without a flag ship title for the holidays and would certainly mean they sell less consoles over the season.

It will be out before mid December, come hell or high water.

But it will still sell less without the holiday rush to boost it.

I won't need to boycott them; they'll have done far more damage to themselves than I could ever hope to have done to them. I'll just derive a bittersweet schadenfreude from seeing them suffer as a result of their own idiocy.

I think they may miss black friday, but the game will come out this year, maybe first week of december, but is damaging enough. It really does not matter much to me, I am not planing to get the game any way, but it could so much fun to watch the meltdowns.

I'm not getting it either, I've never liked Smash Bros. It's just frustrating seeing Nintendo shoot themselves in the foot over and over, it's like watching your baby brother play a video game really badly and you just want to rip the controller out of his hands and do it right.
