Forums - Nintendo - Activision Wii U support is back with an awesome game!

At least the casual will love this.

Well can't blame them!!!

Unlike Ubisoft who's full of it..... Their cash cow is Just dance and it's selling millions on Nintendo's consoles, the WiiU version out sold the PS4 and Xbox One. The profit from this game alone would pay for the development of all the WiiU port which would still turn in a profit. Ubisoft screwed WiiU owner when we desperately needed software in holding back Rayman Legend. Which resulted in abysmal sales for this title. ZombiU on the end still sold more than 500K units and was profitable yet they still complained.

Nintendo Wii gave Ubisoft their best seller of all times in Just Dance.... Ungrateful B@$%#.

Activision stick it out with COD.... you can't blame this year, WiiU owners are simply not support them. They have done enough for WiiU and can sell us a cash in like THE VOICE.

There are a LOT of people, even on here, that said they would never touch a Nintendo console after the Wii and it isn't because of the motion controls. There were AMAZING games on the Wii, but even I can't say it wasn't flooded with absolute garbage.

The bottom statement is exactly what Iwata is hoping for. Sales that positively effect the short term while sacrificing the longterm perception of the company. This will only serve to alienate themselves further from the core audience next gen.

Do you know what's the only thing Nintendo can do to fight back for the core gamers? Listen to the speach that Reggie gave when he unveiled the Wii U. Listen to it really good. Cause in that speach Reggie says exactly what Nintendo needs to win back the core gamers. What was he talking about in that speach? He said things like: "the most powerful console on the market", "perfect haven for 3rd parties", "top notch online service", "great experience for the core gamer". That's what he was talking about. Unfortunately Wii U never delivered that. It isn't remotely close. So what should they do? Give Wii U the Virtual Boy treatment. Kill the Wii U. Kill it with fire next year and release the next console October 2015. Make it more powerful than the PS4, so that it gets the best versions of multiplats and port every single worthwhile Wii U game for its launch with improved graphics. Make it the console that Reggie was talking about.

The best version of all multiplats and launch lineup of Zelda U (give it a different name, lol), Zelda WW HD, Pikmin 3, Xenoblade Chronicles X, MK8, Donkey Kong, 3D and 2D Marios, Bayo, Smash... That could work. Moreover, releasing 2 years after the competition would allow them to make the console more powerful, yet keep the price at a reasonable level.

Whether you like it or not, this is the only way to regain the core gamers, though obviously there is no guarantee of a success. Then again, Wii U is too flawed to ever do it, so in this case you have the guarantee of a failure.

Wii U is a GCN 2 - I called it months before the release!

My Vita to-buy list: The Walking Dead, Persona 4 Golden, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, TearAway, Ys: Memories of Celceta, Muramasa: The Demon Blade, History: Legends of War, FIFA 13, Final Fantasy HD X, X-2, Worms Revolution Extreme, The Amazing Spiderman, Batman: Arkham Origins Blackgate - too many no-gaemz :/

My consoles: PS2 Slim, PS3 Slim 320 GB, PSV 32 GB, Wii, DSi.

Disagree, people are shitting themselves over the new 3DS and it's coming out 4 and a half years after the initial release of the 3DS (assuming we see it around next Christmas). I think coming out in 5 years (2016 or early 2017) may not be a bad idea. This would give them the strongest console on the market for a few years, have the games they have announced come out, and have another year to push more TOP QUALITY software out while ditching games like The Voice BS. This way people would at least feel that they got their moneys worth out of the console and would be ready for the next. Releasing any earlier than that would put them in the same light as Sega with it's Saturn. And that's assuming we believe the power of the console is Nintendos problem with the market (which while I think it may be a part of, but NOT the only reason people are shying away from the Wii U), and a better company image by closing the floodgates of shit games, everyone wins eventually.

Xbox One - 70m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

To all you haters of The Voice: It's better than American Idol!

I don't think people hate The Voice, is just that many are upset because instead of porting the latest CoD we are getting this game as support, I do hope that is a good game and have something interesting or different to offer, I will not buy it but I hope that it reaches its audience.

because COD has been selling so well on Wii U so far...right
