Your saying that there is nothing fundamental about one's gender. Your saying it is a violation of human rights that a small videogame website - and by extension the whole world - is not constantly vigilant to never imply this fundamental aspect of the reality of human life. Why stop there? What if I'm oriental but want to be white? Or Arab and want to be Hispanic? This must then surely extend to race as well?

Why stop there. Age is also nothing "real", because I (hypothetically) decide so right now and want to be a 23 year old forever.

I don't think you can in any way come to that conclusion from his statement.

In my opinion your whole intention is fraught with considerations that simply do not serve humanity as a whole. Surely it is not such a dramatic statement to say that it is normal for a human being to accept his own biology? There have always, and will always, been people outide societal norms, but does that really mean that 99.99% of humans must change their societal norms to accomodate them? What's next? Shameless promotion of changing one's sexual orientation?

It would be easiest for everyone if they just accepted that human beings as a whole will never accept such things as normal. This my bother some people, but there are always things that bother some people.

Going through 5mins of creating a new account with a different gender didn't come to mind even though you contemplated undergoing major surgery to (ostensibly permanently change your gender?

More than that, you couldn't think of creating a new account but you expect web designers to consider the possibility that you might change your gender as a user at some point?

These are all rhetorical questions. 

One could easily say:

"I am offended by being called he/she. The English language should be changed."

What to speak of German where male and female affect the whole thing. Is this a product of a ignorant humans? Actually, I don't like people referring to me as a human at all - I feel more like a household appliances, so I'm going to start a movement to protect my (ahem) rights.

How about the option to choose two genders at the same time? Never mind. Just create a new female account if you feel different and gender on VGC is so important to you. In the future if you will decide that you became a man again, you can return to your first account.
